Builders For BHA House Sold
 
In case you haven't heard, our fundraiser house building project in Fredericksburg, Pa. was a huge success. We broke ground in April and suppliers and subcontractors rallied to our aid with donated and discounted labor and materials. We finished the house in August, sold it the same week, and settlement was late September. The Build A Future house fundraiser generated $85,700 to help fund our program and reduce some debt. We're astounded by how well it went and are so thankful to everyone who helped!

This is the first project of Builders for BHA, our initiative to develop partnerships with builders, property developers, and related businesses in support of our housing programs at BHA.

Introducing www.bha-pa.org
 
Welcome to our new website. We're excited to launch it after pouring much time and creative energy into developing it.

We hope you'll check back regularly as our home page page will be updated with news and highlights about upcoming and recent events, volunteer opportunities, and inspiring stories of changed lives.

A few items to be aware of:

• We now accept donations via credit card and online check. Plus, our site has information on giving to BHA through various other methods.
• Want to get involved or connected with BHA? Check out our Volunteer, Prayer Partner or Connect pages.
• Curious when the next work day is? Or want information on an upcoming event like our golf tournament or bike tour? On the right side of the home page you'll see brief highlights of upcoming events, or go to the Events page for more detailed information.

In conclusion, I want to share that this site was a collaboration between myself and my good friend Michael Marshall. One of the best things about my previous job was meeting Mike. He's one of the smartest guys I know, and also a great guy to eat wings and watch a movie with. We worked together on the site, but he did all the hard stuff...specifically the entire credit card/online check payment processing system. Thanks, Marsh, I owe you one. How's steak sound?
