On The Road Again
 
This past weekend, I served as the resource person for the Blue Ball Church of the Brethren at their annual Labor Day weekend retreat at Woodcrest Retreat in Ephrata, Pa. It was a joy and honor to do this as my cousins Karl and Janet Oberholtzer are leaders in this church, and ever since I started at BHA we've been in dialogue on how I could share with the congregation.

It was a beautiful setting, and a joy to see the body of Christ in action. It was obvious these folks love each other, are there for each other, and care about their local community. It was like hanging out with one big Bagwashi Circle. Thanks for the opportunity! My wife, kids and I enjoyed the weekend away in the beautiful rolling hills of Amish Country.

Steve led the group in several sessions on
what it means to truly love your neighbor.

The church has been going away for this camping, fellowship and recreation weekend for 38! years, with a vast majority of the church taking part each year.
