Ministry Update: Serving Homeless Families During Tough Economic Times
 
Many of you have asked how BHA is doing during these difficult economic times. At BHA, we are blessed with dedicated supporters who pray, volunteer and give financially so that we can continue our work with homeless families. You gave generously at the end of 2008, and for that we are so grateful.

Yet, giving has decreased some during the first half of this year. Historically, giving often declines the year after a recession begins. But, need continues to increase. Even with our recent program expansion, from January to July of this year, we had to tell over 200 homeless women and children that we could not help them. So, we must continue with our plans to serve more families in the coming years.

As we head into the fall, we’d appreciate those of you who can to remember us in your giving.
