Sunday, October 02, 2011 Celebrate With Us!
Thursday, November 3, 2011 - Sixth Annual...

Join us at the Harrisburg Farm Show Banquet Center for our 6th Annual Ministry Celebration Banquet... This year we will be challenged and inspired by Dr. Robert Lupton, Founder and President of FCS Urban Ministries of Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Lupton is the author of numerous books and articles on urban ministry, several of which have deeply encouraged and nurtured our staff and leadership, including:
As well as the forthcoming Toxic Charity: How Churches and Charities Hurt Those They Help (and How To Reverse It) (Release Date: October 2011). In addition to Dr. Lupton sharing with us, you'll be blessed by the music of Rev. Dred Scott. We welcome Rev. Scott back to Harrisburg, well know for his many years of pastoring/community development work in Harrisburg and as a fixture in the local jazz scene. For the past 10 years, Rev. Scott has been pastoring St. Matthew's United Methodist Church in Baltimore. The evening will feature inspiring testimonies of lives changed through the ministry of BHA--A highlight for many guests. We'll also share updates on our 20/20 Vision through which we are growing to serve more families, restore our city block, and invest in the lives of youth. Come...join the celebration in support of our work! For all the details, visit our Upcoming Events page. Or contact Chris Fitz, Director of Development at 717.233.6016 ext. 22 or cfitz@bha-pa.org.
